Where we started

What do you get when you cross a plumber with an insurance underwriter? My guess is you would never even fathom the answer. However, in 1986, that's exactly how Spath Jewelers got started. 

The truth is back then, our founders Gene and Tina Spath didn't know much about jewelry, but what they did know is that God is good, how to work hard, and how to take care of people. Since then, what has formed, is a business that blurs the lines between family, friends, customers, and employees.

Where we are now - Bartow Store

Since 1986, Spath Jewelers has become a staple to the Bartow and Polk County area. When walking into Spath Jewelers, our goal is to make you feel as if you are being welcomed into our home. However, in this home you are greeted by a knowledgable staff and surrounded by sparkly diamonds!!!

Emily Spath is the Chief Operations Officer of Spath Jewelers, Bartow. Emily goes beyond the conventional approach to business. She values people first and the business second. She is an expert at generating relationships and making each and every customer feel like they are apart of her family. 

What truly sets Emily apart, is her remarkable creativity and expertise. With a keen eye for design, and an extensive knowledge of jewelry, she excels in the art of transformation. Emily has a unique ability to turn seemingly unremarkable items into personalized pieces that her customers love, making every moment in the store a cherished and joyous experience for her customers.

Where we are now - Valrico Store

Spath Jewelers Valrico, established on November 1, 2002, has become an integral part of the Hillsborough County community.  Brian Spath serves as the Chief Operations Officer for Spath Jewelers, Valrico. As a 2001 Graduate Gemologist from the renowned Gemological Institute of America (GIA), Brian's expertise is truly unmatched.

Brian's journey with Spath Jewelers is deeply rooted, and he would tell you he was practically "Born Into Spath Jewelers." His full-time commitment to the store began at the age of 19. After a few years at the Bartow location, he took the reins at the Valrico store, working alongside his Grandmother.

For those who know Brian, it's impossible not to love him. His compassionate nature and unwavering dedication make him a treasure to the community. Brian possesses a unique ability to connect with customers on a personal level, understanding the emotions behind every jewelry purchase. He transforms the act of shopping for jewelry into a memorable experience for every customer.
